Zoom is a video conferencing software. GBARC is a paid subscriber and can hold meetings that last for up to 24 hours. Participants in our meetings can be free subscribers by following these instructions. Do this prior to the meeting to avoid delays.

• Go to https://zoom.us/ and create an account. There is no cost.
• Go to https://zoom.us/meetings and download and install Zoom Client for your PC or the correct mobile app for your mobile phone.

The following is to make sure your camera and or microphone is properly connected.

• Start Zoom from your PC or mobile phone and enter your password and email
• Under the New Meeting pull-down, check Start With Video
• Click New Meeting
• Click the carrot to the right of Mute
• Click Test Speaker and Microphone
• Go through the tests. You should be able to hear a playback of your test audio from your mic
• Click the carrot to the right of the camera
• Click Video Settings
• Make changes as needed. You should see your camera video on screen
• Close the app with the X and click End Session

Assuming everything works, you ready to join a meeting or host a meeting. To join a meeting, start Zoom and click Join a Meeting. Enter the meeting ID sent by the GBARC host and you are good to go.
